Hi, I'm Dalena, the photographer behind Heart & Home: NETN to SWVA Photography. I believe every family, home, business, and landscape has a story worth telling. From the mountains of Northeast Tennessee to the valleys of Southwest Virginia, I am passionate about capturing the people and places that make our region feel like home. My photography style is warm, natural, and intentional, focusing on genuine connections and authentic moments rather than stiff poses or fleeting trends. Whether I'm photographing a growing family, a couple celebrating a milestone, a local business owner building their dream, or a home preparing for its next chapter, my goal is to create timeless images that reflect the heart of your story. When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me exploring the backroads of Appalachia with my amazing husband and best friend, Robert Sorrell, or curled up with our adorable cats, Snickers & Willow.
